Highlights

 

(1) B.C.'s 2017 budget proposed a reduction of the general rate from 11% to 12% effective January 1, 2018.
(2) Saskatchewan's Bill 84 proposed an increase in the general rate from 11.50% to 12% effective January 1, 2018.
(3) Quebec Bill 112 reduces the general tax rate by 0.1% on Jan 1 of each year from 2017 to 2020.
The general rates would be 11.8%, 11.7%, 11.6%, and 11.5% from 2017 to 2020, respectively.
(4) Yukon proposed to decrease the general rate from 15% to 12% effective July 1, 2017.
